Revere Beach Reservation is the home of the oldest public beach in America, it opened in 1896. Lifeguards are on duty from late June to early September for safe swimming. Fishing and picnicking are common at the relaxing shoreline. The park's other amenities include a bandstand, a bathhouse, shaded picnic shelters and restrooms.
The park is located about four miles north of downtown Boston on Revere Beach Parkway in Revere.
